SERVICE AGREEMENT

The undersigned owner or authorized agent of owner (“Client”) hereby retains Beauchamp & Associates, Inc., (“Company”) to represent (“Client”) in any and all property tax matters. This service will include, but not limited to:

  • Maintain property tax files in our office for your records.
  • Review valuation notices and file appeals with the Appraisal District.
  • Develop and implement strategies to help minimize your tax cost.
  • Negotiate at all levels with the Appraisal District to secure the lowest possible value.

The property owner herby engages Beauchamp & Associates to provide a property tax reduction service for a performance fee of thirty percent (30%) of any and all property tax savings that result in our efforts. Property tax savings are defined as the difference between the proposed market value and the final market value times the tax rate. The Company will bill Client as soon as we obtain written evidence from the assessor’s office of a reduction in value. All fees are due and payable upon receipt of invoice, and will become delinquent after 45 days and are subject to collection costs and interest rate of 1% per month on the unpaid balance.

This agreement shall remain in effect and ongoing until either party gives 45 days written notice.

The Company has not and does not make any guaranty, representation, or warranty as to the appeal results. The Company’s recommendations, advice, and opinions are based on sound knowledge of valuation, appraisal, and assessing theory on both a national and local level. It is understood and agreed that the Company is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or opinions.

January 31 - Deadline to pay property tax without penalty, unless tax statement is mailed after this date.
